Taiwan's Famous Grand Castella Cake NOW in Manila

Grand Castella Cake!

Sabi ko pag nag Taiwan ako or Singapore, hahanapin ko talaga sila para ma try. Kahit pa pumila ako ng 1.5 hrs or more para sa isang slice. 😆 serious! Super haba ng pila nito sa Taiwan at Singapore (pero meron din daw nito sa Korea, China, Vietnam and Malaysia)

Makukuha mo yung slice ng freshly baked. Like for me, nag antay ako ng mga 8 mins (Pwede na compare sa 1.5 hrs di ba). Pag labas pa lang sa oven, super bango na! Parang gusto mo ng kainin kaagad. 😂

Master Baker Tai-Cheng Lu adapted the Japanese castella and made it a fluffier version in Old Tamsui, Taiwan and became the softest, fluffiest and jiggliest sponge cake ever. 🥰

And its super true, super soft and fluffy. At yung lasa, Ang Sarap! Hindi matamis. Yung cheese flavor ang kinuha namin and I think perfect na sya. 😋
