The Grand Castella “sponge cake”
Filipino’s often call it “the sponge cake from taiwan” or taiwan sponge cake. It has gained popularity having several branches on different countries
When we visited the Tamsui old street the kids loved it and now that it is here it would save us time and money to enjoy the great taste of Castella.
As we were strolling along the Eastwood Mall there we found the first branch of Grand Castella here in the Philippines and decided to wait the line and order.
It’s very fortunate for us to meet and interview the owner Ms. Yuka Tsumori a half filipina / Half Japanese beautiful lady. Who’s family is from Tokyo Japan.
A smart and very accomodating person who spent the time to explain to us her product and Vision for her business.
